Oktober"!

Time goes by so quickly it's already October and I still love my hostfamily :)
I did a lot of things in the past month! I visited the Niagara Falls, but the trip was like a crazy movie about the worsest trip ever :D this weekend my hostparents spent their days in florida and the girls stayed in upstate new york with their grandparents... and my weekend was awesome!!!! Karo visited me and I picked her up at the bus stop where she arrived and then we spent the rest of the day in the city. First we walked up the fifth avenue got some food at whole foods and ate it in the central park and it was a really sunny day! after that we visited some stores made pictures and at the evening we went back to long island. On our way back we stopped at a liquor store and bought some sparkling vine for a nice girls dvd night with some other aub pairs and sushi :)
The night was really, really good and the next day we planned to go to the tanger outlet in riverhead so we started in the morning and spent their 7 hours of extreme shopping nice!
Later back home we watched a movie looked at our new stuff and started to get ready for our night out in new york city!!!! it was amazing we had so much fun :) and today we went to the city again just to hang out and spent the last hours together
THE BEST WEEKEND

Monday

Today a new week started and I had to work.. nice!
We watched Doodlebops, played with dolls and barbies, my little girl was my doctor :D
but it was a long day again.. and now I´m happy to have my freetime but I don´t feel like going to the gym.. but I have too :/ I´m happy when I can go in the morning again! and when it´s Friday.. because I looooove my weekend :D who not`? so now relaxing and watching tv ...

My awesome Weekend ♥

My weekendwas awesome and I´m really tired :D
Friday after work I went to the gym and then to the Cheesecakefactory with a few other au pairs and I had a Tempura Roll and a wild mushroom Flatbread yummi! but again no cheesecake but I promise the next time I will try one :)
The next morning I took the train to NYC to meet Kim a friend from the Training School who is living in New York too and my lovely Tine :) we met at the hard rock cafe and then our first stop was forever 21, then we took the subway to the central park where we bought some food from whole foods. Later we saw some crazy boys dancing and rent a boot at the boothouse from the movie 27 dresses hihiiii :)
after that we had ice cream and walked down the fifth avenue and went to century 21 near the ground zero! and the last point for this day was the Broocklyn Bridge :) then I started my trip back home with the first subway to grand central then with the second to the time square and from there I walked to penn station where I catched my train to merrick and there  finally my car was to finish the last miles! my bed was calling because it was after midnight  and I had to stand up early because we went to the tanger outlet in riverhead today where I spent a lot of money :D but I´m happy now :)

My first September post...

Everything is still good! I love my hostfamily and Irene was a nice guest :).. there where only some branches and stuff from the tree in the yard but nothing bad happend! and I hope that´s it for the first time :D
The last weeks where a bit stressful because one week no child had school and the last week one was sick and the youngest starts school on wednesday so.. fun all day long!
And since three weeks I´m a member in the gym right across the end of our street :):) and I try to visit it daily.. it´s really good to´work out and use the sauna or steam... or the pool because everything is included! perfect I love it :D
after work and gym I often meet Kristin an other au pair in my town and we do different things together panera bread, dunkin donuts, starbucks.. wir sind halt einfallsreich :D..

Our guest tonight: Irene!

A long time since my last post but now I have some time for a new one :) what has changed? Inken went home, my hostmum is in Miami, the elder kids are in Florida with the grandma, my host dads birthday is today AND Irene is coming tonight! You don´t know who is Irene ? it´s the nice hurricane who will hit long island later this night... and I´m a little bit afraid.. we made a few preparations like cleaning up the yard and buy bread an milk, batteries candles and lights.. I will move to an other room later because we are afraid that the tree in front of my window maybe can fall during the hurricane.. at the moment I´m skyping with my friend tine she is also waiting for Irene but in Maryland.. the days is a litte bit crazy everybody is nervous about what will be happen and if we are save.. the train and subway system shutted down this evening and some lower areas where evacuated and some near the beach too! my hostchild will sleep in the basement and and the flight from my hostmum for tomorrow is canceled so she will return on monday ...I hope after the hurricane everything will be good :) and the rain gets more and more.. in a few minutes I will have my owm waterfall in my room :D ohh my god cant believe that this is happen .. a few days ago there was an earthquake and now these hurricane.. ok we will look what will happen later!

The week

Monday at the Cheesecake factory I ate a salad and no cheesecake but I have to visit again and then I will eat a cheesecake :) Tuesday One of the girls stayed at home because she is sick and got fever so one of us get the other two to camp and the other one stayed at home that was the whole week like that we worked everyday till 6 pm and then we have done different things... tuesday we went to the cinema and watched a movie called friends with benefits :) Wednesday we went to cold stone and ate very delicious ice creme there and we met an other au pair too. Yesterday we only drove to CVS pharmacy to print some photos. And I bought a Arizona icetea yummiiii!! after that we watched tv and at 10pm together with our host parents Jersey Shore that was fun :D
and I dont now what we do today, but tomorrow Inken will fly to Vegas! and I think about spent my day in the city but I dont know already...

First days in my hostfamily

Friday Inken picked me up at the training school and then we drived to the house :) I was just a little bit excited because I met the parents after work at 6 pm and I really like them. At the first day we ate sushi and talked a little bit but I dont know what to say... after that my hostmum, Inken and I went to the cinema and we watched Harry Potter! And I really liked the movie we watched it in 3D. Saturaday we went to a little mall and to Target a Store where we bought towels and some food, after that Inken and I went to a bigger mall and I bought a new T shirt :) Later at night we watched Eclipse and ordered a Pizza... Sunday we went to the city and spent the day there, we went to the Time Spuare, Central Park, Broadway and a little mall where I bought new Sunglasses :):) and today we stand up early and bring the girls to their camp then we visited a big designer shoe warehouse :) and yeees now I have new shoes!!!!! then we played with the girls and had dinner at the cheesecake factory... so good night ;)
